Question of Carbs!!

Ok I got the question of carbs from one of my readers.

I do eat pasta, potatoes, bread, rice, couscous, candy, etc... And I do not eat those products known as "whole grain". Pasta called wholemeal often maybe 80% plain white flour and only 20% whole wheat flour. But i make sure i limit my intake and make sure it does not have to be everyday or every time. I am a great eater as my friends say but i make sure i read the right things because my health is very important to me.

People often think that you should eat lots of eggs and cheese and mayonnaise etc. but all that is just trying to dictate the way your life goes and still not enjoying all you can. I always tell my friends, As long as you can eat your carbs with Veges then you have no problem at all.

If the others are eating spaghetti and Bacon Sauce I eat Spaghetti with Pure vege salad and shrimps.

It is thus no diet but plainly heating healthy, I eat a lot of fruits and berries and nuts too which is very important as they help in giving the body nutrients. Just make sure you do not eat Carbs and Fat as that is a bad combination! And drink lots of water and herbal tea. Hugs, Lauren

Exuviance Serum

My colleague Joan was at the Exuviance weekend course. I would actually have gone on the course also but we decided to split between two courses so it was busy all the way day and night all weekend.

A super fun news is that Exuviance launches 4 new products! Exuviance is not very often with new products so it is especially exciting when it comes new. Exuviance series expanded with new features. Exuviance serums are the perfect way to supercharge your daily skincare regimen. These concentrated problem-solving essentials target specific skin concerns including lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, dullness, oxidative damage and loss of elasticity. Worn alone or layered to boost the benefits to your complexion.

Infirior Moments!!

Sometimes I get intimidated by what i read and forget I know things that not everyone knows also. For example, sorry! Bowel zones are therefore as you can see in the mouth. Around the nose down towards the corners of the mouth and out towards your ears. And in the middle of the forehead.

Regarding problems with stomach: Eat as I said, psyllium seeds, and probiotics.

Sure, it may feel like you can not afford to eat well for they are often portrayed as expensive and nuts. But if you educate a little on the subject, it's actually not expensive to eat well. On the contrary, sometimes.

A packet noodles for example, with one of those little flavor sachet are really cheap.
But if you compare what a head of cabbage cost and how much food you get for your money, you quickly realize that is a superfood that is cheap!
Cabbage contains SO much vitamins and also probiotics that are good for the intestines.

You can tear cabbage and make coleslaw, make cabbage salad, marinate the cabbage pieces in garlic, olive oil and spices. Eat as snacks and dip, shred into long strips and cook light and use instead of pasta. Mix into tiny flakes and have instead of rice. And so on.

A head of cabbage that does not cost nearly anything can replace a package of rice, a packet of pasta, etc. which are much more expensive and worse for the body.

One can also buy beans and lentils and make steaks instead of expensive and environmentally unfriendly meat.

Instead of cow's milk, you can buy a package of oatmeal and make your own oat milk. Oats are a real miracle plant and lubricates and strengthens the body from the inside in a very unique way.

Oatmeal is a great breakfast! I always eat oatmeal for breakfast. With cinnamon and rice milk. Cinnamon is very sweet in itself and strengthens and stimulates the digestive tract. It also regulates blood sugar. So you certainly do not need sugar, even if you learned it twenty years ago. ;-)
so I just mix oatmeal with water, let the grains fall to the bottom and pour the water over the oatmeal so it becomes oat milk in a minute.

So I can agree that it is "difficult" to eat healthily. (More fantasy-consuming, which may be very hard when you have the stresses of everyday life), but not that it is more expensive.

OH MORNING WOOPS!!

This morning when I looked in the mirror. I realized that the skin was very dry and I had pimples on the face. A real big pimple on his forehead.

I seldom get pimples but now I knew why.The reason is all the alcohol I drank on New Years Eve.

As an esthetician, I know that any kind of alcohol higher than 8% dehydrates the body. It, therefore, comes with more water out of the body, than it itself contains.

This naturally also affects the skin, which becomes drier and loses elasticity. So I made a mini facial with deep cleansing, exfoliation and moisturizing mask.

Now I will just grease the face with moisturizer and a little make-up then,

I am ready to face the world again
